Greg Andrews, owner of Efland’s THD Construction, says he is unhappy with how Orange County is managed and has chosen to run for a seat on the Orange County Board of Commissioners.

Andrews will campaign for a District 2 seat which represents areas of Orange County outside of Chapel Hill and Carrboro.  He is a member of BB&T’s Board of Directors and plans to balance growth with conservative spending.

In terms of the waste transfer station controversy, he says he has not been able to form a definitive opinion, but he does say time is running out to solve the problem.

Andrews says he will bring a common sense attitude back to the community.
