Sergeant C.J. Slemenda of the North Carolina Highway Patrol says the department has been able to identify the Mebane man killed earlier this week on Old N.C. 86.

Two other men were riding in the car, and troopers believe Rassan Omar Devonn McMillan of Burlington, was the driver.  The car was driven at 80 mph at the time of the crash, 7:30 p.m. Monday evening.

Sergeant Slemenda says McMillan went to a nearby house to call for a ride when he was picked up.

Trevor Jarod Moore is being named as the third passenger and was found walking towards Carrboro after the accident. Carrboro police picked him early Tuesday morning and notified the Highway Patrol. he was treated for his injuries and then taken into custody.

Right now, both men have been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, as the 2003 Honda Civic they were in was reported stolen from Burlington.  Slemenda says additional charges are pending as the investigation is ongoing.
