Carolina and Boston College faced off yesterday in Chestnut Hills, Massachutes a battle of ACC conference rivals.

Saturday’s game marked another strong defensive performance as the Tar Heels forced 6 Eagles Turnovers on their way to a 31-13 victory.

Defense was without a doubt the story of the game as Carolina picked off Eagles quarterback Dave Shinskie 5 times including one for a touchdown by Kendric Burney.

Safety Deunta Williams also joined the party with three interceptions including one that would eventually seal the game.

Tailback Ryan Houston would power his way into the endzone one play later.  Houston would finish the game with 18 carries for 45 yards.  A productive day for Carolina receivers as Greg Little and Erick Highsmith as they combined for 13 receptions for 107 yards.

The Tar Heels will now focus their attention on NC State as they will travel to Raleigh on Saturday.
