Join UNC Basketball Coach Roy Williams in the fight for Cancer Research by attending the 5th Annual Fast Break against Cancer.

Coach Williams says it’s important for everyone to contribute because cancer affects everyone. 

Mark your calendars for this Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Center Court of the Dean Smith Center.  Individual seats are $100 each and tables for eight will be $1,500 dollars.  All proceeds from the event will support cancer research, prevention, and treatment programs in the community. 

Attending this year’s event will be Men’s Basketball assistant Coaches, legendary coach Bill Guthridge and the voice of the Tar Heels Woody Durham.   This year’s keynote speaker will be former UNC and NBA player Eric Montross.  Coach Williams adds that it’s an honor to be associated with an event that is dedicated to raise money for a great cause. 

And don’t forget that Late Night with Roy Williams takes place this Friday, followed by the first practice of the season and the Tar Heels prepare to defend their national title.
