(Additional Reporting by Anthony Wellman)North Carolina will travel to Chestnut Hills, Massachusetts, this weekend to attempt to do something other teams this season have not been able to accomplish this season, come away with a victory.
Boston College is a perfect 7-and-0 this year at home, but Eagles head coach Frank Spaziani knows the eighth straight home victory won’t come easy when the 25th ranked Tar Heels come into town on Saturday.
The Tar Heel defense will go against an impressive offensive line for Boston College. Last week, the defense was able to force several turnovers, including Kendric Burney’s three interception day.
After former coach Tom O’Brien left to fill the coaching void at NC State, Frank Sapziani was given the task of keeping the Boston College program moving in the right direction. Coach Davis says he has done a great job.
Kick-off is scheduled for noon on Saturday. WCHL’s coverage will start at 9 a.m. with Countdown to Kickoff. Off the Top will continue the pre-game coverage at 10 a.m., which will lead in to Woody Durham and Jones Angel’s coverage at 11 a.m.
