Managing Director Hannah Grannemann says Playmakers will be launching one of its biggest fundraisers of the year in April.

This is the fourth annual Playmakers auction. Last year the repertory company raised an astounding $70,000 to help fund its artistic, outreach and education programs.

In addition to bidding on vacations and Carolina vs. Duke basketball tickets you’ll find items like a signed basketball by the 2009 national championship team, carpets and private dinners.

Grannemann says it shouldn’t be surprising that Playmakers gets such a good response from bidders. The organization touches the lives of thousands.
