Wake Forest sports blogger Martin Rickman thinks the Demon Deacons have had Wednesday night’s showdown against UNC at the Dean Smith Center circled since it was scheduled.

Tar Heel fans need to be wary of a strong Wake Forest front line.  The Demon Deacons enter the game with no real injuries and a healthy, aggressive mix of forwards and centers, including leading scorer Al-Farouq Aminu.  Carolina will be missing sophomore standout center Tyler Zeller, who is recovering from a stress fracture in his foot.

The Tar Heels have also battled injuries at guard, a key position against Wake Forest.  Rickman, who writes at BloggerSoDear.com, says point guard Ishmael Smith’s play has made a big difference this season for the 12-4 Demon Deacons.
