Victims of a robbery last night were punched and kicked by three teens.

Lt. Kevin Gunter of the Chapel Hill Police Department says the teens approached the victims as they exited their vehicle.

The crime took place on Lonebrook Drive in Chapel Hill.

Gunter says there was no report of the teens brandishing a weapon. As the assault and robbery was in progress, Chapel Hill Police arrived on the scene.

Gunter says all three suspects were caught and charged with felonious common law robbery as well as misdemeanor assault. Two of the teens were from the Chapel Hill area while the third was from Apex.
